Join Kirsten for a 3 week Introduction to Yoga series. In this course, we break down a gentle flow-style yoga class. You will learn yoga postures and how to modify them to suite your individual needs, and simple transitions that link the postures together. Basic meditation, yoga philosophy, and breath work are woven into each class, giving students a wide view of the practice.
Journal prompts are given after the first 2 classes to deepen your experience, with the option to share in the following class. Access to a video of the yoga class that we break down is provided. You are encouraged to practice with the video throughout the series. All levels of experience and ability are welcome. This class is limited to 10 students, so individual needs are met. This series prepares students for mixed level group classes where students have the skills to modify as needed.
