Born and raised on Cape Cod, Kelly has been practicing yoga for over 10 years - not coincidentally, that is also how long she’s been working in the mental health field. She obtained her bachelors degree in Communications and began working with a few different local mental health and substance abuse facilities over the years.
Kelly’s passion for helping people, and for yoga, finally collided when she met Michelle from innerglow studio in January 2018. She signed up for yoga teacher training that same day.
Yoga has enhanced every aspect of her life by teaching her how to release control, ease her anxiety-driven mind, slow down and to ground herself during moments of chaos.
Kelly has had quite a few epiphanies in savasana, consistently reminding her that there is healing in silence. She is eager to share her love for yoga by helping to explore the positive energy that yoga can bring to life, while becoming more mindful and learning to link movement with breath.
