Yoga and meditation have been a part of Michelle's life for over 15 years and have been her saving grace through many challenging life experiences. She uses her knowledge and growth to inspire her students to continue pushing forward, and believe in the strength and beauty of every moment and every breath of every day. Yoga inspires Michelle to meet each moment with mindfulness and to cultivate happiness and joy with whomever she meets. 

Michelle is certified through many schools including Yoga For Life, a Kripalu inspired program, and Fluid Yoga with Kevin Gale. She is also a student of Mark Stephens, one of Northern California's most influential teachers. She lives life as a student first and is deeply grateful for the loving wisdom her teachers have shared with her. Through the teacher training program, Michelle hopes to inspire and educate those on the path of yoga to live their most authentic lives.

Ingrid began practicing yoga as a young adult in order to maintain the strength and flexibility that she developed as a gymnast. She soon realized that yoga was not just a physical practice, but it also helped relieve her anxiety. In 2001, Ingrid moved to Cape Cod and began working in the fitness industry as a certified fitness instructor and personal trainer. She started teaching a weekly yoga class at her gym, and has been teaching yoga ever since. Her style is relaxed, accommodating, and inclusive. Ingrid has worked with students of all ages and ability levels, and she provides modifications so that everyone has a chance to participate. She infuses her classes with a blended style that includes vinyasa, moderate hatha, yin yoga, and meditation. She is working towards a 500 hour yoga instructor certification and currently teaches at several locations throughout Cape Cod.

After searching for years for a form of exercise that she enjoyed, yoga found Diane. Coming to yoga later in life was a blessing. It offers her a pain-free back, centering, a clearer mind and a happier, healthier body. Diane’s classes provide an opportunity for students to listen to their bodies, move with their breath and feel the peace and joy that is unique to yoga. Diane teaches by the philosophy that this gift of yoga is available to all ages, all sizes, all shapes.

Sara first stepped onto her yoga mat in 2010 looking for a physical practice to complement running. Not knowing what to expect, she left her first yoga class feeling a sense of steadiness and ease which ignited the beginning of her yoga journey. Along the way, yoga has become a safe space to re-connect to her authentic self, manage stress and anxiety from the demands of everyday life, release and let go, and slow down and be present. Her practice has evolved from just a physical practice to yoga having a positive impact on her life both on and off the mat, allowing her to live a more meaningful and purposeful life.
 
Sara’s mission is to create a safe and inclusive space for students to get out of their heads and into their hearts, while honoring their body and individual needs. As a lifelong learner, Sara is committed to continuous growth as a yogi, teacher, and human, and is currently undergoing her 300-hour advanced yoga teacher training with Down Under School of Yoga. Off the mat, Sara enjoys running, traveling with her husband, and spending time in nature with her two pups. Sara offers studio classes, private sessions, online holistic health coaching, and more. Kirsten's first introduction to yoga was finding a stack of old books and manuals. The writings of Amrit Desai, Paramahansa Yogananda, and Ram Das offered her a glimpse into a system of practice that she deeply recognized. Home practice and self study brought her to a 200 hour foundational training with Diane Kovanda and Kind Yoga School in 2011. Currently, Kirsten studies Embodyoga with developer Patty Townsend, and is working towards her 500 hour certification under Patty's Guidance. Kirsten recently completed a 90 hour prenatal teacher training with Corrine Andrews, owner of Yoga Center Amherst and developer of Birthing Mama, an online program for prenatal yoga and wellness.

Kirsten attended Spa Tech Institute of Massage Therapy and is a 650 hour Licensed Massage Therapist as of March 2017. Through therapeutic touch, Kirsten's greatest wish is to give a tangible form to the practice of yoga. By communicating subtly through touch and differentiating different layers of tissue, her clients gain an embodied sense of their own anatomy and alignment.

Gordon Kanzer

Wednesday 8-9am Gentle Kripalu Yoga 
Gordon made the transition from helping patients as a Physician to helping students as a Yoga Instructor. His background as a Radiologist gives him a unique perspective on the human body. He received his 200 hour yoga teacher certification from the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Wellness in the Berkshires, aligning himself with their philosophy of inclusiveness, regardless of limitations or abilities. His knowledge of health and wellness helps students to listen to their bodies, practicing yoga with ahimsa, the yogic philosophy of doing no harm. He experienced both a spiritual and physical transformation through yoga and would like to help others gain the clarity to discover their authentic selves, peace and well-being. In the interest of connecting with the community and helping those with physical and mental challenges, he devotes part of his teaching to Yoga Neighborhood, a non-profit with a mission of bringing yoga to Cape Cod to all regardless of resources or challenges. He is happily married with three grown children and a long time resident of Cape Cod.

With over 30 years of experience, Sandy brings to the mat each time a new, challenging and fun class that will make you want to keep coming back!
Her expertise in Anatomy & Physiology as a Registered Nurse, Massage Therapist, Level 1 Yin Masters, Reiki Level 2, encompasses not only a safe environment, but her passion to encourage and allow freedom for each student to explore their own possibilities in their physical and spiritual practice of Yoga.

Carol Thompson

Carol has been in the fitness industry for almost 40 years mastering many techniques and disciplines. She has a passion for fitness and strives to improve lives through physical fitness.

Carol earned a Masters from Ohio State University in physical education and holds numerous certifications that enable her to personal train and teach group exercise classes including: weight training, core strength, senior fitness, zumba, water aerobics, spinning, and aerobics. Carol owned and operated her own fitness studio in downtown Chicago where she ran the group exercise program for AT&T and provided Oprah with personal training.

After an inspiring conversation with Michelle, Carol signed up and completed her 200hr certification through Cape Cod Yoga School in April 2017. ​
