with Abby Beceril
Thursday March 7, 6:00-7:30pm
In this class, you will be led on a meditative journey into the heart.
We will begin with a cacao ceremony intended to gently open our heart space, followed by a series of restorative yoga poses led by Abby Becerril. Through the evening you will be treated to a soothing sound bath and aromatherapy. You will leave feeling calm and rejuvenated. No experience is necessary. More about Abby: I began practicing yoga in 2010 when I stared taking classes at a local gym. The effects of the practice were immediate and it made me curious to know more as the connection to my own divinity came to the forefront. I graduated from my 200 hr teacher training through The Dharma Connection on Cape Cod in 2012. In 2021 I completed my 500 hr training through Diata Yoga as well as attending trainings in Meditation, Restorative Yoga & Sound Healing. As a lifelong student of this practice, I never stop learning, & seeking to embody what I bring to my classes. Expect a blend of slow mindful movements, intentional breathwork, and intuitive sequencing intended to assist the healing and rejuvenation of the mind, body, and spirit and bring you back to your own divine spark. Basic meditation, yoga philosophy, and breath work are woven into each class, giving students a wide view of the practice.
Journal prompts are given after the first 2 classes to deepen your experience, with the option to share in the following class. Access to a video of the yoga class that we break down is provided. You are encouraged to practice with the video throughout the series. All levels of experience and ability are welcome. This class is limited to 10 students, so individual needs are met.
